MARPOL Electronic Record Book and Log Book System by Spectral
Spectral's Electronic Record Book ERB is a user-friendly application used on board ships to maintain several different types of ship log books including the Oil Record Books.
ERB can be used in parallel with traditional paper books or replace these paper books entirely.
It has well-identified sections for each type of log book and 15 different books are available as of April 2024.

ERB exports all log records automatically to the Log Book Monitoring Platform LMP. From LMP, users at the company office can reproduce all ERB log book reports.
ERB is fully integrated with Spectral’s other applications for ship board usage, such as Work and Rest Hours, (WRH) and Ship Administrative System (SAS).
ERB licensing is subject to Flag state regulations and varies depending on which flag the vessel has. Spectral is seeking flag state approval for ERB from major flag states when required.

ORB comes with 17 different log books including all MARPOL books
The Oil Record books in ERB include Part I, II, and III (Part III only applicable to Panama version).
The name of officers who saved data and officer who verified data entries is recorded and saved together with time stamps both in local and UTC time.
All books can be outputted as report and converted to pdf files
